When the school year ends, Countryside's summer keeps the same spirit of joyful, hands-on learning — outdoors, in the garden, and in the pool. Children explore, build, cook, and play through warm, well-structured days.

Daily swimming, outdoor play, and picnics fill the warm months. Children plant, tend, and harvest a vegetable garden, turning the produce into garden-to-table snacks they prepare themselves. Mornings are a purposeful work period; afternoons bring recess and swimming.

Summer at Countryside looks a little different at every age.
For Toddler and Primary children, summer maintains the familiar rhythm of the school year, with even more time for outdoor play, exploration, and daily swimming. For Elementary children 1st through 6th grade, each week brings a new themed camp experience. Past themes have included Sports Camp, Master Chef Camp, STEAM Camp, Art Camp, Botany Camp, and other hands-on adventures. Themes rotate annually based on current interests, new ideas, and what we think will make for an engaging summer.
Across every age level, summer is active, purposeful, and filled with opportunities to learn, play, and enjoy being together.
The best way to understand Countryside is to see the classrooms, meet the adults, and watch children at meaningful work.
