    Academics · Upper Elementary
    9 – 12 years · Grades 4–6

    Where independence comes of age.

Upper Elementary students take on ambitious work: long-term projects, real research, and genuine responsibility. They leave Countryside prepared not just for the next grade, but for the next stage of their lives.

These are the years that prove what a Montessori foundation is worth.

Upper Elementary students plan and manage their own work, collaborate on complex projects, and pursue subjects in real depth. They step into leadership within the school community and out into the wider world through trips and study. By the time they graduate at the end of sixth grade, they are confident, capable, and ready — academically strong and, just as importantly, sure of themselves.
