The Parenting Leadership Class is Back! + 3 Things We Learned from Feedback

March 24th, 2015

Due to popular demand, Michele and Jim Aspinall are bringing back the Leadership Parenting class! Take a moment to read the feedback to find out why. The next sessions will be offered on May 7th, 14th, and 21st. Contact Francesca to sign up. Babysitting is available.

1. Parents are Benefitting from the Classes

I am so glad we signed up for this class!  I read books, attended seminars before but this one I love so much because it is so applicable. Every session I walked away knowing exactly what to do.  We were doing it all wrong. The over explaining, making sure they are not frustrated, praising constantly, the inconsistencies with our approach. I can go on and on… Thank you again Michele and  Jim!

– Lily and Adrian Mitchell

I just wanted to express my appreciation for Michele and Jim.  James and I did gain a lot from the parenting classes.  And I feel that we were able to learn some very important principles at a perfect time for

– Nikki and James

The parent leadership four-part sessions led by Michele and Jim Aspinall are invaluable as we breach a dawn of social change that encourages a lack of “leadership” in parenting; we tend to value nurturing to the extreme of coddling which does not benefit the developing child perspective of the adult world they are headed for.

– John Terry

We truly appreciate your commitment in the education of our children, and anything we can learn from your wisdom I am that much smarter and better able to deal with situations at home with the kids. Thanks!

2. Parents Appreciate the Aspinalls’ Approach

I wanted to send a quick note and let you know how much we appreciate Michele and Jim. The parenting class was fantastic and they do a wonderful job. Beyond that, we feel truly fortunate to have them helping us to raise our family.

Jim and Michele are the types of people you want to be around and who you want around your children. They are fun, friendly, and warm. They clearly love their jobs and are good at them. They care. They are dedicated and they go above and beyond.

With the Aspinall’s, and the people you have at CDS, we have the utmost confidence that our children will grow into adults we can be proud of. What a special place and a well run organization! Nicely done. Thank you.

3. Parents want the Classes to Continue

We have to say, great class on parenting. Has really got us thinking and acting. Jim and Michele, as always, were wonderful. I think CDS can only benefit continuing on with this tradition.

– Mohit Madnani

Darren and I value the parenting classes that Countryside offers. We thought that Michele and Jim did a great job teaching Leadership Parenting, and we hope that more sessions will be offered in the near future. We are very grateful for the parenting support that CDS and the community provides us.
